States Challenge World Health Organization Jurisdiction

Where does World Health Organization Jurisdiction end? If federal governments sign over our rights, can states save the day? When it comes to WHO overreach, we turn to the experts! Joining us to explore the legal boundaries of the WHO’s jurisdiction, we welcome back Dr. Meryl Nass and Dr. Kat Lindley, alongside our host Dr. Pierre Kory. We also have a special guest, State Representative Kathy Edmonston. With Louisiana challenging its influence on state decisions, this episode is crucial for understanding what could be at stake for your state.

Who gets to decide when to declare a public health emergency? The World Health Organization (WHO) thinks it should be them. But there are strong voices who disagree. Most recently, a bill was unanimously passed in the Louisiana State Senate declaring the WHO will have no jurisdiction in its state. It now needs to pass the House and be signed by the Governor.

That move in Louisiana is important because, as of April 2024, we are less than two months away from a vote orchestrated by the World Health Organization. This vote asks the 194 WHO members to decide the fate of two documents:

  1. A new “pandemic agreement”, and
  2. A series of amendments to the existing International Health Regulations.

These are binding agreements made between member states. So what is at stake? And why should you care?

On their surface, these documents seem to be on the up-and-up. The consumer-facing rhetoric goes something like this… To prevent the spread of infectious diseases, the WHO says we need:

  • Better pandemic preparedness
  • Better pandemic prevention
  • Better & fairer public health response

It’s hard to argue against the need for improved pandemic preparedness and response. In a sane and rational world, one could imagine an organization like the WHO coordinating responses to health emergencies. The problem right now is that some experts claim the WHO is an increasingly corrupt, bureaucratic kleptocracy with a terrible track record, especially during COVID.

When an unelected foreign entity seeks to tighten its grip on our health systems, we’re grateful there are people like Dr. Meryl Nass, Dr. Kat Lindley, and our own Dr. Pierre Kory shouting from the rooftops.

Why World Health Organization Jurisdiction Matters

If you want to know why WHO jurisdiction matters, nobody frames it better than Dr. Meryl Nass:

“This is not ‘more of the same’. This is not ‘legalese’. There are very rich, powerful people who have been plotting for a long time to try to gain as much power and money and control of the world as they can. They are going for a global One World Government, and they’re using the WHO to do that. And that’s what these two treaties—these two legal documents—are about. It’s about legally putting everybody else’s neck in a noose under the WHO Director General… and that’s probably why the WHO, for the first time in its 75-year history, is led by a non-physician. A guy who was number three in a party that was considered terrorists by the US State Department, you know, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who is a buddy of Bill Gates and a buddy of Xi Jinping.”

In other words, the WHO is now controlled by some very powerful people who are in the process of attempting to take more power. This is a matter of whether the WHO should have authority over countries like the United States whenever they decide to declare a health care emergency.

Can States Stand Up To The WHO?

Can states stand up to the WHO? Here’s what the bill in Louisiana aims to do:

“It just restricts the World Health Organization, the United Nations, and the World Economic Forum from having any jurisdiction in the state of Louisiana. It’s very simple. One paragraph. Just done. That’s it.”—Louisiana State Rep. Kathy Edmonston

According to Dr. Nass, at least a dozen other states are taking action too. And, Dr. Nass is doing everything possible to help via her organization, Door to Freedom. For example, she’s created a piece of sample legislation (very similar to the one that passed in Louisiana) to help other states take action.

Speaking on the FLCCC Weekly Webinar, Kathy Edmonston broadcasted that she’d gladly assist any state rep who contacts her.

Though the story of the states continues to develop, the promising move in Louisiana, along with the resources provided by Door to Freedom and Dr. Nass, provide hope against an otherwise bleak outlook.

The Who’s Who Against WHO Overreach

The topic of World Health Organization jurisdiction is extremely complex. Thankfully, there are those who have made it their mission to distill and dispense the most vital pieces of information surrounding it. If you’re hoping to understand what’s really going on, look to these upstanding individuals:

  1. US Sen. Ron Johnson
  2. Dr. Meryl Nass
  3. Dr. Kat Lindley

1. US Sen. Ron Johnson

“Our task is to open more people’s eyes” —Sen. Ron Johnson

Senator Johnson has been a longtime supporter of Dr. Kory and FLCCC. It was Senator Johnson who called on Dr. Kory to speak at the Senate Homeland Security Committee meetings early in the pandemic.

When it comes to the WHO, Sen. Johnson is paying attention. We spoke to him March 2023 on our Weekly Webinar, focused on the WHO and potential threats to U.S. sovereignty. You can see the entire episode right here.

When you listen to Sen. Johnson speak, he highlights some troubling aspects of the WHO’s proposed treaty:

  • Forcing US companies to turn over their Intellectual Property (IP)
  • Forcing US companies to turn over 20% of their pandemic products to the WHO (therapeutics, PPE, etc.)
  • Suggests the US gives 5% of health spending to the WHO

Since March 2023, much of the language in the proposed treaty has been finessed in revised versions, but the core remains the same.

For a deeper dive into the many intricacies of WHO jurisdiction and authority, listen to this 3-hour Advocates Brief on the WHO’s transformation from ‘health advisor to dictator’. The brief is as well led by Senator Johnson, and features expert analysis from Dr. Meryl Nass as well.

2. Dr. Meryl Nass

“We’re undergoing a soft coup… under the pretext of pandemic preparedness and the biosecurity agenda.” —Dr. Meryl Nass

Dr. Meryl Nass is a Maine-based MD on a mission to expose everything going on at the WHO to the public. According to Dr. Nass, the WHO is being used by elites to control money, power, and resources. Speaking to Russel Brand, she spells it out nicely:

“Elites… Globalists… really want to gain much greater power over the world and the world’s resources, as well as the world’s people. Now, how could they do that? They needed a multinational organization… were they going to do it through the World Bank? Were they going to do it through the UN? The WHO is the most benign sounding. The WHO is unaccountable – you cannot take it to any court in the world. The people who work there all have diplomatic immunity. And there is no security council veto power. So, once the director general gets a power, nobody can stop him.”

In the webinar above, Dr. Nass spent some time focusing on what reality might look like if WHO manages to gain more control through their proposed treaties:

  • A requirement that “nations must surveil the social media of their citizens and censor them”.
  • A requirement that “nations must put into place the ability to roll out unlicensed drugs and vaccines with no liability for the manufacturer, or the government, or the WHO.”
  • “The WHO will be able to declare a pandemic whenever it wants.”
  • The WHO is “going to require nations to be constantly surveilling for pandemics.”

So, all the horrible things we were forced to endure during the chaos of the COVID pandemic will be formalized and systematized. If you didn’t like how things went the last few years, Dr. Nass wants you to know that it could get even worse if the WHO overreach isn’t stopped.

3. Dr. Kat Lindley

“We need to make this an election issue. Every person who’s running for office needs to be asked this question, are you willing to give up the sovereignty of our state and our country to the World Health Organization? Are you even aware of it?” —Dr. Kat Lindley

Dr. Lindley has been sounding the alarm on the WHO’s tomfoolery at an increasing rate. Between being a practicing doctor and a mom, she has also started an organization that raises awareness about WHO overreach called The Global Health Project.

Why does WHO jurisdiction matter? Dr. Lindley says to follow the money:

“Originally, the WHO was funded by the member states, but over time that changed and right now over 80% of their funding comes from voluntary contributions. Some of them are from the member states’ voluntary contributions and the others are from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, GAVI Alliance, Wellcome Trust. What does that mean? It means that WHO really only has maybe 20% of their budget they have control of. The rest of it comes with earmarks. If someone gives money, they give it for certain programs, and that’s how the money is spent.”

The handling of the COVID pandemic shocked Dr. Lindley enough that she has made it her mission to find out what went wrong and to fix it. A big part of that is keeping a close eye on the WHO.

Wrapping up

Knowledge is power, and we are beyond thankful to all the heroes who have risked everything to get this critical information to the public. If you’re keen to learn more about WHO jurisdiction, we’ll leave you with a few more resources:

  • Sovereignty Coalition: An organization determined to protect US national sovereignty against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
  • Trust WHO: Documentary recommended by Dr. Kory that highlights the corruption at the WHO (which predates the COVID pandemic).
