Negative Reactions, Positive Action: Patient Experiences and What We Wish Our Doctors Knew

Lecture abstract:

What do a preschool teacher, a former Pussycat Doll, and a respiratory therapist have in common? They’ve all faced health challenges that have changed their lives after receiving COVID-19 injections. In this presentation, they share their stories, highlighting the struggle for recognition and care. This session was presented by React19, an organization advocating for those with vaccine injuries, underscoring the need for greater medical awareness and support.

About the Speakers

Brianne Dressen

REACT19 Co-Chair

Brianne Dressen is REACT19’s co-Chair. A previously healthy preschool teacher and mother of two young children, Brianne’s life changed when she participated in the AstraZeneca clinical trial. After one shot in November 2020, she experienced severe paresthesia, double vision, and extreme sound, light, touch and teeth sensitivity. She also experienced tinnitus, brain fog, memory loss, limb weakness, motor dysfunction of her legs, and loss of bladder control. This evolved into tachycardia, blood pressure fluctuations, temperature dysregulation, and “internal electric shocks” or internal vibrations. She began receiving treatment in June 2021 and has improved somewhat but is not yet out of the woods. In the meantime, she discovered a huge community of vaccine injured who, like her, were experiencing life-altering adverse reactions and getting little to no help from their communities, their medical teams, or their governments, which is what led her to start REACT19.

Jessica Sutta

Writer, Singer, Songwriter

Jessica Sutta, a writer and former member of the International Platinum Award-winning recording pop group, The Pussycat Dolls. Jessica was severely injured by the Moderna vaccine two years ago and her life hasn’t been the same. However, that hasn’t stopped her from pouring everything she can into helping heal the injured and give a voice to those suffering.

Danee Dixon

Respiratory Therapist

Danee Dixon was an active and energetic respiratory therapist working in a hospital before she took the COVID shots. She took them against her better judgment because she was told it was the right thing to do and she wanted to protect her patients. She was severely injured by the injections she received.
