COVID-19 infection rates have risen during the Omicron surge—making it clear that it will take more than vaccines alone to conquer COVID. In a new Substack essay, FLCCC president Dr. Pierre Kory says that ongoing threats against the licenses and livelihoods of doctors prescribing other proven therapies for their COVID-19 patients have instilled fear—causing many doctors to withhold prescriptions for alternative drugs. “Just like our long-standing advocacy for early treatment of COVID, the FLCCC has advocated for public officials to let doctors be doctors since the beginning of the pandemic,” said Dr. Kory.
Likewise, in a recent Op-Ed in the Washington Times, Representative Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) encouraged the current administration to embrace all scientifically proven therapies for COVID-19, including repurposed drugs—most of which are inexpensive, highly safe, effective and widely available.
Said Gohmert, “While the vaccines have helped some, they are not an impregnable defense.”
