Excellence Awards 2024

Every single person who attended ‘Healthcare Revolution,’ FLCCC’s recent medical educational conference in Phoenix, Arizona, deserves an award — plus, so many others who couldn’t attend but were there in spirit. You’re all winners in our book!

But a few exceptional human beings deserved particular attention during a brief, heartfelt awards ceremony on Friday, February 2.

Dr. Paul Marik and Dr. Pierre Kory gave out the organization’s inaugural Excellence Awards to:

Dr. Suzanne Gazda (Outstanding Clinical Scientist);

Mary Beth Pfeiffer (Freedom Award —Investigative Journalism);

Dr. Elizabeth Mumper (Lifetime Achievement); and

Dr. Flavio Cadegiani (Contributions to Research Excellence).

Each one of these individuals has made incredible contributions to medicine and medical freedom, not just since the COVID pandemic began but for many years before.

Dr. Gazda FLCCC Excellence Awards 2024

Dr. Suzanne Gazda is one of the few neurologists in the country drawing linkages between brain health and COVID infection or vaccination. Her tireless work to research the pathophysiology of COVID and help find effective treatments to destructive neurological impacts is what qualified her as FLCCC’s Outstanding Clinical Scientist of 2024.

Mary Beth Pfeiffer FLCCC Excellence Awards 2024

When it comes to exposing the truth, journalist Mary Beth Pfeiffer has never been afraid of being a muckraker. Just before COVID hit, Pfeiffer wrote an investigative series and book on Lyme disease, covering the diagnostic and treatment failures, silencing of patients, persecution of physicians, and collusion and corruption of the CDC, medical journals, and medical societies. When COVID hit, she knew she was watching history repeat itself. Her fearless pursuit of the truth and passion for investigative journalism made her worthy of our inaugural Freedom Award.

Dr. Elizabeth Mumper has been a tireless champion of the most vulnerable for many decades. As a pediatrician, she has helped thousands of families navigate the difficult waters of Autism Spectrum Disorders and related chronic complex conditions. As a clinical advisor to FLCCC, she created the I-CARE: For Kids treatment guide, which helps parents understand how to prevent their children from getting COVID-19 and what to do if they get sick. She also produces a video series called Kid’s Corner, giving advice for parents in simple, easy-to-understand terms. Her compassion, kindness, and dedication to her patients embody the spirit and values of the FLCCC and make her the ideal recipient of our first Lifetime Achievement Award.

Dr. Flavio Cadegiani FLCCC Excellence Awards 2024

Dr. Flavio Cadegiani conducted some of the largest clinical trials and observational studies in the COVID era, including studies looking at the effectiveness of ivermectin as a prophylaxis and treatment. He is responsible for the first hypothesis that explains the massive number of post-vaccine myocarditis cases and sudden deaths, particularly among young males and athletes. He also conducted a study to see if proxalutamide, an androgen receptor antagonist, could be an effective treatment for men with COVID-19 in an outpatient setting. Because of his commitment to the scientific method, and his many inputs to the body of evidence, Dr. Cadegiani was a natural choice for the FLCCC award for Contributions to Research Excellence.
