“I think it all goes back to the damage to the vascular system… the one thing that I have noticed is we pay a lot of attention to the arteries. We don’t necessarily pay a lot of attention to the veins.” He also has concerns about individuals vaccinated for COVID-19, noting, “As my patients started to go get vaccinated, I started to see people come back to me, who I’d seen for 12-15 years, that would say, hey, I’m short of breath… These are otherwise healthy people. That was my clue to go search deeper – what is going on here? What is so unique about this disease?”
