World Renowned Physicians and Scientists Bring Medical Expertise and Critical Research to Expanded Initiative
Washington, D.C. (May 23, 2024)— The FLCCC Alliance today announced the addition of 14 new senior fellows to its international fellowship program. These senior fellows will extend the organization’s global reach and enhance its capacity to drive meaningful change in medical practices and policies worldwide. The new fellows hail from 11 countries across four continents. These additions underscore the FLCCC’s commitment to promoting medical freedom, rigorous science, and ethical medical practices across the globe through numerous professionals representing a diverse range of medical and scientific specialties.
The FLCCC fellowship program’s mission to unify and amplify the voices of distinguished physicians, scientists, and health professionals now includes these esteemed international figures, further solidifying the initiative’s global impact. The program announced its initial 12 US-based senior fellows last week.

Brief bios of the new FLCCC international senior fellows are below:
- Karina Acevedo-Whitehouse, senior fellow, immunology
Dr. Karina Acevedo-Whitehouse, BVMS, MSc, PhD, is a Senior Fellow specializing in Immunology and Veterinary Medicine from Mexico. She received her PhD in Immunogenetics from the University of Cambridge and holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Dr. Acevedo is currently a full-time Research Professor at the Autonomous University of Querétaro, where she has been researching immune plasticity, immunogenetics, and molecular epidemiology for over 20 years. She has published 61 scientific articles and seven book chapters.
- Byram Bridle, senior fellow, virology and immunology
Dr. Byram Bridle, PhD, is a Canadian Associate Professor specializing in Viral Immunology. He focuses on immune responses against viruses and the development, optimization, and safety testing of vaccines for infectious diseases and cancers. Dr. Bridle is known for his evidence-based approach, promoting informed consent, and demanding accurate risk-benefit analyses for novel medical interventions. He has received numerous prestigious awards for his research and teaching and is widely published in peer-reviewed scientific literature.
- Natalia Prego Cancelo, senior fellow, general medical practice
Dr. Natalia Prego Cancelo, MD, PhD, is a Senior Fellow specializing in General Medical Practice from Spain. With 25 years of medical experience, she has practiced emergency medicine for over a decade and served as the Medical Director of a Primary Care Center in Portugal. Dr. Prego Cancelo is a co-founder of Médicos por la Verdad and has been an active participant and speaker in numerous international medical and legal conferences, advocating for human rights and the dissemination of scientific and medical information.
- Hector Carvallo, senior fellow, endocrinology
Dr. Hector Carvallo, PhD, is a Senior Fellow specializing in Endocrinology from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a retired professor at the University of Buenos Aires and former director of one of the city’s largest hospitals. Dr. Carvallo conducted the first human trials of ivermectin for COVID-19 prevention and has explored the use of various repurposed drugs for COVID treatment. He is a highly published author who has successfully treated thousands of COVID patients.
- Ana Cristina Cardoso Lemos Malheiros, senior fellow, psychiatry and integrative medicine
Dr. Ana Cristina Malheiros, MD, is a Senior Fellow specializing in Psychiatry and Integrative Medicine (Anthroposophical Medicine). With more than three decades of experience, she is dedicated to holistic family care, with an emphasis on promoting health and human development. She obtained her medical degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil and received International Certification in Anthroposophical Medicine from Goetheanum, Dornach, Switzerland based in Curitiba, Southern Brazil, which aims at defending professional medical autonomy and patient freedom of choice. She provides health information and advice to her patients with a comprehensive approach to wellness through healthy habits and lifestyle changes. Dr. Ana Cristina is also actively involved in research on the impacts of biopolitics and the 2030 Agenda on human behavior, physical health, and mental health.
- Alberto Donzelli, senior fellow, public health
Dr. Alberto Donzelli, MD, is a Senior Fellow specializing in Public Health from Italy. Born in Milan, he became an MD in 1973 and specialized in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine as well as Food Science. Dr. Donzelli had a distinguished career in public health, serving as Hygiene Service Manager and Health Director, and was a member of the Italian Superior Council of Health. He currently presides over the Allineare Sanità e Salute Foundation, which aims to eliminate conflicts of interest in healthcare.
- Jennifer Hibberd, senior fellow, dentistry and nutrition
Dr. Jennifer Hibberd, BSc, DDS, DPD, MRCDC, ROHP(t), is a Senior Fellow of Dentistry and Nutrition specializing in Pediatric Dental Surgery in Canada. She graduated from University of Toronto and did her post-graduate pediatric training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. An educator and scientific editor, she has held leadership positions in private and hospital-based practices. Dr Hibberd is a founder of the Canadian Covid Care Alliance, vice president of the Canada Health Alliance and co-founder of the World Council of Health. She has been actively involved in research on the effectiveness of Ivermectin and vaccine safety concerns, contributing to several groundbreaking scientific papers.
- Yasufumi Murakami, senior fellow, molecular oncology and pharmacology
Dr. Yasufumi Murakami, PhD, is a Senior Fellow specializing in Molecular Oncology and Pharmacology from Japan. He is a Professor Emeritus at the Tokyo University of Science and vice Director at the Research Center for RNA Science. With over 100 publications, Dr. Murakami’s research interests include the molecular biology of DNA tumor viruses, genomic research, functional genomics, and the identification of novel cancer targets for therapeutic use.
- Scott Mitchell, senior fellow, emergency and integrative medicine
Dr. Scott Mitchell, MBChB, MRCS, is a Senior Fellow specializing in Emergency and Integrative Medicine from the UK. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Aberdeen in 2001 and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. With over 15 years of experience in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Mitchell has been on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic and has been actively involved with the FLCCC since April 2020.
- Pat Morrissey, senior fellow, general medical practice
Dr. Pat Morrissey, MRCGP, is a Senior Fellow specializing in General Medical Practice from Ireland. He graduated from University College Cork in 1998 and holds postgraduate diplomas in Family Planning and Child Health. Dr. Morrissey has been growing his rural practice for over 20 years in Limerick located in Ireland’s Midwest. Having previously worked as a medical educator and as chairman of Urgent Care Doctor’s Cooperative covering 180 doctors and 380,000 people, he now focuses more on meeting the needs of his patients by providing services as diverse as tongue tie release for babies and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Pat is active in confronting antihuman trends in conventional medicine. His Christian ethos and medical knowledge drive him to advocate for an evidence based and ethical approach to medical freedom and protection of the doctor patient relationship.
- Carlos Nigro, senior fellow, otolaryngology
Dr. Carlos Nigro, MD, PhD, is a Senior Fellow specializing in Otolaryngology from Brazil. He earned his medical degree in 1994 and his PhD in Sciences from the University of São Paulo in 2004. With a specialization in Integrative Health, Dr. Nigro has published numerous scientific articles and served on the editorial boards of several medical journals. He is a co-founder of the World Organization for Latin American Life and the Doctors Federation for the World, and currently coordinates MPV-LA (Médicos Pela Vida Latino América).
- Ivana Pavic, senior fellow, pathology
Dr. Ivana Pavic, MD, PhD, is a Senior Fellow specializing in Pathology from Croatia. With a concentration in digestive, liver, and oral pathology, she has a distinguished career in both clinical practice and academia. Dr. Pavic is a board-certified pathologist and a Scientific Associate at the School of Dentistry, University of Zagreb. She has also held significant roles in sports management, including serving as President of the Croatian Sitting Volleyball Federation and Secretary General of ParaVolley Europe.
- Tina Peers, senior fellow, allergy and women’s health
Dr. Tina Peers, MBBS, DRCOG, DFSRH, FFSRH, MBCAM, is a Senior Fellow specializing in Allergy and Women’s Health from the UK. Since qualifying in Medicine at Guys’ Hospital London in 1983, she has developed extensive expertise in women’s health, working first as a GP and then as a Consultant in Contraception and Reproductive Health. In 2019, Dr. Peers founded The Menopause Consultancy, a center of excellence providing evidence-based care for women. She has recently focused on treating Long Covid, leveraging her knowledge of Histamine Intolerance and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Dr. Peers also contributed to the FLCCC protocol for the treatment of Long Covid.
- Jessica Rose, senior fellow, computational biology
Dr. Jessica Rose, PhD, MSc, BSc, is a Senior Fellow specializing in Computational Biology from Canada. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Immunology from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and a PhD in Computational Biology from Bar Ilan University. Dr. Rose has completed two post-doctoral degrees in Molecular Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and in Biochemistry from the Technion Institute of Technology. She is best known for her contributions to public health and safety related to the COVID-19 injectable products, and her analyses of pharmacovigilance databases like VAERS.
