WASHINGTON, D.C. – The FDA has removed and replaced the page on their website about ivermectin and deleted social media posts that erroneously attempted to say that ivermectin was for horses and told the public to “stop it.”

“I am glad that the content is now gone, and we can put this behind us,” said Paul E. Marik, M.D., FCCM, FCCP, a plaintiff in the case, chairman and chief scientific officer of the FLCCC Alliance (FLCCC), and former Chief, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. “Unfortunately, the damage done by the FDA’s actions will continue to have a negative impact on public health for some time.”

On March 22, a settlement was reached in the Apter v. Dep’t. of Health and Human Services lawsuit. In the settlement, the FDA agreed to remove website and social media posts that make statements about using ivermectin for COVID-19.
