All About Mpox
Monkeypox is a zoonotic disease caused by a DNA virus, similar to the smallpox virus, that appears to originate in Africa. There are two clades, or variations. The virus was first found in monkeys in 1958. Dr. JP Saleeby goes on to share who is most at risk for Mpox, how it is spread, symptoms, preventive measures, botanicals and drugs that can be used to treat the disease. Dr. Saleeby also shares his concern about the experimental shot being rolled out for monkeypox.
