Ashwagandha is an herb that has been used in Indian (Ayurvedic) medicine for nearly 3000 years. It is found in India, the Middle East, and Africa. It is reported to have anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-diabetic, anti-hypertensive, neuroprotective, apoptogenic, and reproductive and hormone modulating effects.
