This self-proclaimed ‘physician-soldier’ has been on the frontlines of treating patients from the early days of the pandemic. Dr. Alan Bain, an internist in Chicago, immediately recognized a disconnect between what he was being told to do by the medical ‘system’ and what was actually working to help patients. He quickly began connecting with others who were successfully treating COVID-19, including FLCCC’s Dr. Pierre Kory.
“Dr. Kory is such an inspiration,” says Dr. Bain. “I emailed him to ask a few questions and he provided great encouragement to me in the use of methylprednisolone for my patients. This drug, along with other pharmaceuticals and supplements on the FLCCC protocol, helped people recover successfully. I am so grateful to him and the early doctors who were speaking out,” he remarked.
Bringing Common Sense Back to Medicine
Dr. Bain was one of the hundreds of people who attended FLCCC’s inaugural conference in October and says he was grateful to join fellow healthcare providers and like-minded individuals to learn the latest information on treating spike-induced disease.
“It was so uplifting to be with other critically thinking doctors and nurses. It’s been lonely these past couple of years to be a sincere physician who wants to find answers and support the patient. What a gift to find myself with others who were doing the same. It is an amazing community,” he says.
When it comes to looking to the future, Dr. Bain feels it is important to get back to common sense solutions in medicine.
“A one-size-fits-all plan for every patient just does not work. ‘Patient first, protocol second’ is my philosophy,” Bain states.
