Dr. Carlos Nigro, Senior Fellow, Otolaryngology
Dr. Carlos Nigro, MD, PhD, is a distinguished otolaryngologist from Brazil, with a robust career in both clinical practice and academic research. He earned his medical degree in 1994 and completed his specialization in Otolaryngology in 1997. In 2004, he received his PhD in Sciences from the prestigious University of São Paulo (USP).
Dr. Nigro has a keen interest in Integrative Health, a field in which he earned a specialist qualification in 2022. His contributions to medical science are extensive, with numerous scientific articles published in both national and international journals. He has also served as a former member of the editorial board of medical journals such as REVICIENCE and Revista da Associação Brasileira de Otorrinolaryngologia (ABORL), and is currently a guest reviewer for the International Archives of Otolaryngology.
In addition to his academic and clinical work, Dr. Nigro is a co-founder of the World Organization for Latin American Life (2020) and the Doctors Federation for the World (2021). Since 2021, he has been the coordinator of MPV-LA (Médicos Pela Vida Latino América), where he continues to advocate for the integration of innovative medical practices and the promotion of health across Latin America.
