Dr. Fred Wagshul, Co-Founder and Senior Fellow, Pulmonary Medicine
Dr. Fred Wagshul, MD, is a distinguished pulmonary medicine specialist with a career spanning several decades. He completed his internship and residency in 1984 at Perth Amboy Hospital, affiliated with the New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry. He then pursued a pulmonary fellowship at Norwalk Hospital, Yale University School of Medicine, solidifying his expertise in respiratory care.
Since completing his fellowship in 1986, Dr. Wagshul has been in private practice in South Dayton. He holds a clinical appointment with Wright State University School of Medicine, where he has been recognized for his contributions to medical education and has been elected into the Alpha-Omega-Alpha Honor Society.
Dr. Wagshul’s areas of interest include asthma, COPD, emphysema, acute and chronic bronchitis, and atypical bronchitis. He is an active member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the Ohio State Medical Association, and the Montgomery County Medical Society. His commitment to pulmonary medicine is reflected in his extensive clinical practice and dedication to advancing the field through education and association involvement.
