Is there any known information on using Ivermectin for dogs? My mixed breed 50 lb dog was recently diagnosed with what appears to be cancer (spleen and lymph nodes enlarged, stomach lining engorged, white blood cells very low, calcium sky high). After nine hours with various vets, oncologists, xrays, blood tests, ultrasounds, the prognosis is not good.

Has anyone had any luck with using Ivermectin? She’s only 5 years old and dearly loved.

Any leads would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thanks for all you do,

    Isabel Shaw

Ivermectin is the active ingredient in canine heartworm medication. I have used it often and saw no negative effects. I also began cooking for my dog and do notice improvement. Slowly I begin to research the raw diet (Dr. Conor Brady). Certified veterinary nutritionists and holistic vet medicine might offer some relief. Very best wishes to you.
