December had Labral tear repair surgery. Was not to move very much for first 6 weeks after surgery. During followup visits complained of dark left leg swollen knee & foot and tingling toes. Dr. kept saying will get better once move more throughout recovery. 2 months later still issue finally convinced I needed for leg to be looked into as nothing changed. Ended up with blood clots- in groin, back of knee and calf. Started Xeralto end of February. Seeing a vascular surgeon have knee high compression socks still have swollen knee, acky calf and tingling toes. Not to same extreme but not gone. Had COVID 2 times got the vaccine through the first booster. Could this have anything to do with it- possibly? Believe I need to see another Dr to get a second opinion. A bit gun shy as my first Dr completely ignored my issue. Wondering if I am being ignored with current Dr.

    Thank you!

I am not a physician, but I have seen this on several occasions with patients. Blood clots were ruled out and often the symptoms come and go and can be in one or both legs. Doctors are “baffled”. I was able to find a few articles about post-injection lymphedema. One is attached, but there are more out there. It might be worth discussing with your provider.

I’m not seeing an attachment either — I suggest dropping in a link instead.

Sounds like getting a 2nd opinion would be good.

One option is Dr. Kory’s clinic — https://drpierrekory.com/

There are also many other doctors in the FLCCC provider directory which would be helpful finding a provider who will be more knowledgeable:

A list of providers and pharmacies are available on our website at Get Started – FLCCC | Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance . To find that list,

    1. Click on Find a Provider.

    2. To locate a provider in the United States, check on the boxes next to Prescriber and Telehealth. From States Served, select the desired location.

    3. To locate an international provider, check on the boxes next to International, Prescriber, and Telehealth. In the International Regions Served field, type the name of the desired country.

    4. To find a pharmacy go back to the link in step one select Find a Pharmacy.

    5. Many of the pharmacies on our list are compounding pharmacies. A particular kind of prescription is required. Please be sure to obtain a suitable one from your doctor.

    6. This video will help you figure out how to use our searchable list. FLCCC Website 101: Provider and Pharmacy Directories – Video Tutorial

    7. Use the protocol drop down menu to help narrow your search for specific protocol
