During the past year or two, I’ve been looking into alternative cancer treatments. I’ve seen the FLCCC resources and Dr. Paul Marik’s research publications. I trust Dr’s Kory and Marik and the guests that they bring in. I was so very grateful during the COVID debacle to have the FLCCC’s sane and courageous guidance, critical thinking and honest dialogue. Similarly, I thought that Joe Tippen’s cancer story was interesting and compelling. He has since linked up with a small pharma company that markets some of his recommended products. This was disappointing, even though he claims not to receive any compensation (it just seems sketchy, particularly on the quarterly Q&A calls). Lately, I’ve seen a lot of Fenbendazole/Menbendazole, and Ivermectin information coming out through Dr. William Makis’ substack. Much of the content is behind the substack paywall. I’m not looking to disparage anyone, but I’ve become leery of Dr. Makis- where does his support come from? He seems to have popped up from obscurity. I’m also leery of the Wellness Company and to some degree lately even Dr. McCullough. There’s more to support this, but wanted to see if there were others who feel the same way (or disagree). I’ve become very selective with the sources of my medical and health-related information. Who can be trusted? Where can I find legitimate information to have the proper discernment for healthcare in general?

In response to your post, here is a video with on doctor speaking on the subject of money, payment. I was looking for another but haven’t tracked it down yet. And it’s late so I’ll have to do it another time. I don’t think these doctors have been making a killing or even a bundle of money since the beginning of covid. They have lost much—their employment at hospitals, they’ve been stripped of titles, they’ve been threatened with de-licensing and had huge legal fees, and sometimes lost their cases in the end. So some are beginning new careers.

I appreciate you raising these questions and hope we can get a good discussion going on the subject. I have also been looking into alternative approaches to cancer and am wondering who can be trusted?

I am not familiar with Dr. Makis, who you mentioned. I am thankful that Paul Marik has made his book Cancer Care available on the FLCCC website. I just received the hard copy I ordered and having looked through it, think it is excellent. I especially appreciate how he prioritizes his recommendations, that is really helpful.

I just went through fifteen books on alternative cancer approaches and would recommend “Natural Strategies for Cancer Patients” by Russell L. Blaylock, M.D. He is a doctor that I trust. He was a neurosurgeon for many years and has authored a few different books. I believe he was involved with Newsmax for a number of years. One unique aspect of his approach to cancer, which the other books did not mention, is the need to avoid all forms of MSG, and there are many forms you would not expect.

Another book I would recommend is “The Metabolic Approach to Cancer” by Dr. Nasha Winters, ND. She (the author) highly recommends another book “Naturopathic Endocrinology” by Dr. Neil McKinney, which is currently in its 4th edition.

A lesser known, but very good book on the subject is “Empowered Against Cancer” by Dr. Brian Lawenda, MD. He has done extensive research over the years but presents the information in an accessible manner.

I do not have this book yet, but it comes highly recommended- “Natural Compounds in Cancer Therapy” by John C. Boik.

I think Paul Marik’s book Cancer Care is among the best.

I think we need a lot of discernment to know who and what to trust. I just learned about this online forum and am glad to have the opportunity to interact on this subject with other free thinkers. I would be interested to know who and what others have found to be reliable.

Thank you for the reply. The Fenbendazole drug along with some specific supplements is very interesting and there are a number of anecdotal stories as well as a few published papers that are worth looking into. Thank you for the book recommendations, I’ll be doing some reading very soon! I did just finish The Cancer Code by Dr. Jason Fung, which further focuses on the metabolic side of cancer treatment.

Another book that looks interesting by an MD who did a lot of research- “Cracking Cancer Toolkit” by Jeffrey Dach MD

When I started reading the Joe Toppin cancer blog some 4+ years ago there were some 12,000 on the blog globally. It took me reading after work a month to read so many stories from around the world. I tried to vet ongoing details of his story in any manner I could. (Vetting for me is critical in a social media dark forces world- where is truth?)

What I picked up was that Joe Tippin was close to death, stage 4, and he took advice from a veterinarian. He was amazed of his own improvement from cancer. The cancer success he wanted to share as he typically thinks “for the greater good”.

As time went on, and I believe he may have started 2017 (?) with his protocol at death’s door, he had a lot of others who also had similar cancer recovery successes globally. I so enjoyed reading these stories from every corner of the world. Just fascinating. The internet I curse was showing me it was also for good

Joe Tippen had difficult time (time management) managing the blog as his income was so shattered by cancer. He spoke transparently. But he always seemed to be for the greater good – that I picked up.

He wants to seed Hope instead of the despair of loss of so much in this one life we all have.

Today I do not know of his journey, I need to pick back up the blog.

Bless those trying to help their fellow man. What an honor in this one short life we live.

It is a very bad thing that powerful medicines like ivermectin and other meds are not recommended, not hardly ever tested by Pharma (except in secret) to maximize effectiveness of life saving. Pharma lives its bottom line balance sheet of its money & its priority lies there. Or so it seems (prove me wrong, please) Biblical teachings are about looking out for our fellow man, those infirmed, those less than, women, children, and so on. There are so many in medicine today who keep all of this at arms length as they ensure their job, their income, their idol of Big Pharma remains well & robust.

May we see a rising tide for good will. I see some in medical who are tremendous doctors and support staff. They want to be on the right side of history. When these tremendous doctors speak of their journeys, their stories, it is reading like none other. Godspeed
