Some GMO foods are derived from simple seed creation from cross pollination techniques [hybridization]. But modern GMO foods are Frankenstein creations in the lab that we have no idea the effect upon the human body. Some of these creations are being clandestinely introduced into our food supply and we have no way of knowing what is going on. We need to have strict laws and enforcement mechanisms to prevent this sort of deception. An outright ban is probably too late at this point but perhaps going forward we can stop what is already in the pipeline and prevent any further development. Control the food supply you control the people. Same with fresh water.
