Problem with Ivermectin Access Australia

Hi, My order for Ivermectin has not been ‘cleared’ through Australia customs from India Mart and has been sitting there for a month. My lovely GP gave me a script and could only give me 12 x 3mg tablets which cost $95.00! I have ordered from India Mart before and the order came through. Does anyone in Australia have trouble with their orders being not cleared (which could be code for seized), and have any ideas about how to circumvent this? My husband and I take it as part of a protocol, plus we share with friends/family. My order was 400 this time – could it be the amount, or that my address has been flagged? So many questions, but ultimately I am after a fix to gain access to it. Thanks for reading. Coelix.

Sorry I don’t have an answer to this problem. I understand that Australia is pretty strict with IVM and am not surprised to see in being held in customs. It is a shame that many countries around the world are still banning this life altering substance. I would suggest that you notify your vendor in about 2 weeks to tell them your package was seized by customs and ask for a resolution. Many vendors will send you another package for the cost of the postage. But you might get the same results. It seems to be related to who is doing the inspection on a given day. My latest package to the US was about a year ago and it contained 2000 tabs, was opened by customs, resealed and delivered in about 4 weeks. Hopefully you will get your shipment.

Thanks for your reply. I have lodged an inquiry with Australia Post and the vendor has said they will contact the post as well because it was a tracked parcel. I’ll continue to watch and wait. Cheers. 😊

Hi, wasn’t sure how to update my original post with an update on my delivery, so have replied to your comment. We received a lovely letter from customs saying they have seized and confiscated our 400 tablet order. Interesting, though, that they let us keep the 200 Fen that were part of the order. Go figure. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m thinking this is one of the disadvantages of living in Australia. Sorry that it didn’t work out for you.

Thanks for the update. That’s not good. It is strange they let you keep the Fen. Like you said go figure.

Hi Coelix, I’m from Australia and ordered my first lot of Ivermectin from IndiaMart mine arrived in a month I ordered 100 tablets. It might be the fact of the quantity you ordered but I’m not sure how customs would even know that.

Like Vegandan said it is such a shame this happens and to contact your vendor and see what they can sort out. What an absolute rip off that you had to pay so much for it in Australia, just goes to show how much Big Pharma don’t want us to access this drug.

Yep, it’s like they know something they think we don’t about the benefits of it. All good though, I’ll be patient, and then perhaps work on other ways of accessing it. Cheers.😊

We just upped our prior Indian orders of 200 to 300 and this is the first one that got stopped at customs for 3 weeks. Then, the TGA called and asked for my email address to send me a letter asking why they shouldn’t destroy it if I don’t have a prescription (slightly gentler terms than that). My Draft response is focussing on personal health choices during a global health emergency for a Nobel Prize winning drug that has been deemed fit for human use for ~ 40 years but that may not get me far.

Does the FLCCC have a Draft letter that we could possibly use for cases like this where we need to respond to the TGA to try and have them released? Also, are there any Oz Doctors that have Telehealth appointments that currently prescribe IVM? My Doctor did before the TGA banned them in Oz (since reversed that ban with Skerritt retiring to go to Big Pharma). Ironically, I had a booking with Dr. Hobart the week after the TGA banned it and they hunted him relentlessly and viciously ever since. He’s still battling through the courts.

I am sorry to hear that you too are having difficulty receiving your IV orders. We changed up delivery addresses and names to friends, and ordered smaller quantities, and these two orders have also been seized. We didn’t receive a nice letter, though. Ours was about confiscation, and no option to appeal, and we have blown our money. Bummer. Obviously they are cracking down on importing it. In these times, we just have to be more creative, or find other formats to use. Good luck with your letter!
