Welcome everyone! I am overjoyed to have to freedom to speak freely with my friends and colleagues! it seems like such a gift these days. You may already know me, but in case you don’t, i am a Registered AHG Herbalist with about 33 years experience as clinician, formulator, medicine maker and educator. I have an herbal clinic in Colorado Springs, and am developer and chief instructor for the Sage Herbal Foundations program, an intensive, 7-month program for the home herbalist.
I am the owner of Sage Consulting and Apothecary, offering a very large line of tinctures, bulk and encapsulated herbs for the past 33 years. We have an FDA-inspected facility (meaning: we survived the massive hammer of the FDA’s overreach.)
I am a guest speaker at UCCS at the Bethel School of Nursing and the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism in Centennial and teach at regional conferences, including my favorite, the Plant Healer Conference. I’ve been through numerous trainings, including with Wild Rose College, David Hoffmann’s Therapeutic Herbalism program, The School of Natural Healing. I’ve attended an intensive training with Donald Yance, through his ECLECTIC TRIPHASIC™ MEDICAL SYSTEM (ETMS). Mostly i am a life-long learner, constantly researching.
My approach is anchored in Vitalism, a tradition that respects the body’s innate ability to heal itself if given the proper physical, spiritual and mental nourishment. In the clinic, she use the Western Constitutional Assessment technique developed by Michael Moore, a method which focuses on the unique constitution and organ state of each client, as well as the energetics of individual herbs and formulations.
