Forum Notifications are now switched 'On'. Here's how to manage them. And there are new Borders around User Avatars
-
Several new Forums features are all ready to go! Forum Notifications, one of the new features, have been turned on. So what does this mean to you?
If you have joined Groups or Discussion and Subscribed, you may be getting more (even a lot more notifications) than you expect.
So here’s how you can get them under control.
Read this Discussion ‘How to Adjust Notifications‘ on our Tech Forum, and get your Notifications under control.
(Just FYI: To summarize how the unsubscribe works: When you click the unsubscribe link you will unsubscribe to that TYPE of alert, not globally. So, for example, if you unsubscribe to emails for a new post, you will still get emails for e.g. connection requests.)

Also, new is the border around users’ avatars to visually distinguish certain types of users in the forum from others. If an avatar does have a border, then the border’s color indicates the user’s membership or role.
Here is the legend for identifying what the colors mean:
No Border — The user is a Free forums member
Teal Border — The user has a Champions forums membership
Slate Border — The user has a Professional forums membership
Yellow Border — The user is an FLCCC Fellow
Red Border — The user is an FLCCC Staff memberGreat work from the Tech Team – Thanks all, most appreciated.
